RESTART After School Program offers exciting and unprecedented after-school programming within San Diego County Office of Education’s Juvenile Court and Community Schools (JCCS). This program serves numerous regions and is unique because it is the first and ONLY after-school programs funded by the California Department of Education that target the high school youth within JCCS.

Quotes from participants:
"To tell you the truth, I looked at my life and thought… I don’t want to live my life this way anymore, so I stopped drinking, smoking, using drugs."
"I stopped drinking and smoking. I fought temptation five times yesterday. Five different homies asked me if I wanted a drink. When the last person asked me, I said yes but then I changed my mind and traded my homie for his skate board instead."
“If I stick to my community service hours the judge said that I would get more visitation hours with my son, if I continue to do well… I don’t say bad words around him; I’m a role model to my son”.
